Our 9 Laws of Business

Law #1:
Everything STARTS as a SEED.
Everything great in this world did not begin as great but as a seed. We cannot control everything in life, but we can appreciate the power of your seeds. Therefore, there is no idea that is too small and no idea that is too big. We are here to change the world, but our customers are the seed-sowers. Whether we’re designing a new Internet browser or the next best artificially intelligent power app, we take great care to ensure that we will ultimately serve you, rather than our own internal goal or bottom line. We appreciate law of sowing and reaping. If we sow more into you than you do to us, our reaping will take care of itself.

Law #2:
Nothing happens until the seed is PLANTED.
Seeds are meant to be planted. We understand that you have an idea and/or passion and we are here to help you take that idea and/or passion from an idea into conception. We are dedicated to helping our customers plant their seeds into the ground so they can they reap a harvest that is worthy of them. This is our main focus and we intend to do this really well. We will always ask ourselves, “What is the fastest and most harmonious way to bring your idea and/or passion into a reality.”

Law #3:
Whatever we SOW is what we will REAP.
We understand that we will get the back from our customers how we treat them. Customer service is vital to us, and we will only hire the kindest and most efficient people in this area. At KodeInc, the customer is not just always right, but the matters more than our products. We completely understand that our customer’s time is valuable, so we will resolve their issues or fulfill their needs right away–and we aim to please. We keep speed in mind with each new product we release, as well as how quickly we can put a smile on our customers’ faces. Life matters and we do not intend to slow down our customers’ successes.

Law #4:
We are not the only SOWER.
We understand that our reputation can sometimes be influenced by companies that are just like ours. This can benefit us in a positive manner, or a negative one. Since we understand that we are not the only tech company operating within our field, we will intentionally do all we can to do the right thing ethically, at all times. We cannot control the seeds others plant, but we can control ours. We do not want to do anything that will hurt our reputation or the reputation of the other companies in our field. These companies deserve to reap a harvest worthy of them and we will do nothing to negatively impede this process.

Law #5:
We will always REAP in a different SEASON than from when I SOW.
We understand that putting our customers first each and every time may not be the best short-term business strategy, but it is always the most important long-term business strategy. We are willing to pour into our customers and wait for our harvests to come. Things that are done well today, will always yield a return in the future. If we taking care of the sowing, the reaping will handle itself.

Law #6:
We always REAP more than we SOW.
Simply put, this is the principle of multiplication. We will always plant one seed and yield far more than we have sowed within the harvest. We understand that being nice to people isn’t always the most popular option, but what you do unto others will always come back to you in far more numbers that what you sowed. This works both ways. When we do well, we will receive far greater. When we do poorly, the same applies. This applies to far more than customer service but also to our products and how we treat our employees. We will always respect the “principle of multiplication.”

Law #7:
We can INCREASE our harvest by planting MORE seed.
We will make a commitment to invest our profits to invest more in our products, employees, customer services, and business systems. We understand that the more we sow into ourselves will lead to the more we can impact our industry and company.

Law #8:
It’s time to start PLANTING now.
We are committed to making an immediate impact in our industry and in the lives our customers.
We see being great at something as a starting point, not an endpoint. We want more that great for our customers and for us. Through innovation and iteration, we aim to take things that work well and improve upon them in unexpected ways. There are millions of apps and ideas that impact our daily lives, but there is always room for improvement today! We understand the future is important, but one cannot develop a prosperous future, without creating a prosperous now.

Law #9:
To reap the harvest, we must be PATIENT and not GIVE UP.
We cannot be perfect, but we can sure try. Trying and learning from our mistakes is the key to our success. Allowing our people to work in a fun, but focused atmosphere is another. Our days may be long at times, our journey may become daunting, but we must never give up. Even if our customers don’t know exactly what they are looking for, and finding this answer , may feel impossible at times, this is our problem, not theirs. We will anticipate the needs not yet articulated by our global audience and meet them with products and services that set new standards. However, this will not happen overnight. Therefore, we must never give up and grow tired.
